This loop climbs from the Kamegamori parking-area trailhead over Oyama to Meyama, the mountain's main summit, then descends across the Himi Nishisengokuhara side to the trailhead. Broad bamboo-grass slopes and bleached fir snags cover the gentle summit plateau, with both tops overlooking Mount Ishizuchi and the surrounding Shikoku Mountains.
