From the Jurigi Kogen trailhead, this traverse passes the Umanose viewpoint to Echizendake, at 1,504 m the highest peak of the Ashitaka range, drops via Fujimidai to Fujimi Pass, makes a side trip to Kurodake, and descends past the Ashitaka hut to the Yamajinja trailhead. Echizendake looks north to Mount Fuji and south over the Izu Peninsula and Suruga Bay, and the lookout on Kurodake faces Fuji and its Hoei crater.
