Okoppe Town Ski Area is a small municipal hill in Okoppe, a town on the Sea of Okhotsk coast of Hokkaido. Its single wide slope, about 400 m long, suits beginners and intermediates, families and new snowboarders, and snowboarding is allowed everywhere. The draw is the view from the top, where drift ice on the Sea of Okhotsk can be seen in midwinter. Night skiing runs on weekday and Saturday evenings, and the low-cost day ticket covers the evening session too. The season usually runs from late December to mid-March.
