Nanao Korosa is the only ski area on the Noto Peninsula, set inside Korosa lakeside park in Nanao. A pair chairlift and a moving walkway serve short beginner-to-advanced runs on about 65 metres of vertical, and there is a kids' land for sledding. Local elementary schools hold ski classes here, and families come from as far as Himi and Takaoka. The New Year's Day 2024 Noto earthquake damaged ground around the lift towers, so for a while it ran with some runs closed, but the lift has since been repaired and the full area has reopened. Its season depends heavily on snowfall and in 2025-26 it ran for about a month in January and February. It is about 25 minutes from the Nanao-Shiroyama IC.
