Funahirayama Ski Area Closed

Funahirayama Ski Area was a small hill in Atō-Tokusa, Yamaguchi City (formerly Atō town), a walk from Funahirayama Station on the JR Yamaguchi Line. Though only about 300 m above sea level, it lies in one of the snowiest parts of the prefecture, and its wide, gentle slope served families and beginners with a rope tow. It usually ran from January to mid-February, and it has since closed.
