むすび山

Ōtsuki-shi, Yamanashi · Elevation 463 m

A 463 m hill on the western edge of Ōtsuki City, Yamanashi, just above JR Ōtsuki Station. Known for its spring carpet of dogtooth-violet (katakuri) and for the wartime air-watch post once stationed on its summit, it is most often climbed as the terminus of the popular station-to-station traverse from Hatsukari over Mount Takagawa (976 m, a Hyakumeizan of Shūrei-fugaku Jūnikei) down to Ōtsuki, prized for views of Mount Fuji.
