Mt. Yahazu

Mt. Yahazu is a 266-meter peak in the Daiori district of Moji Ward, Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, in the central Kiku Peninsula, and is one of Moji Ward's representative hill peaks together with Mt. Kazashi and Mt. Tonokami. Old Imperial Army gun emplacements and tunnels remain on the summit, now incorporated into the Yahazuyama Campground. Kitakyushu City publishes an official walking guide map for Moji Ward.
