Mt. Oiwa

Oiwayama is a 182 m peak straddling Fushimi and Yamashina wards of Kyoto City, marking the southern end of the Higashiyama range. The forested slope holds Oiwa Shrine with its distinctive torii gates designed by Insho Domoto, and the summit observation deck serves as a highlight of the Fukakusa Trail / Kyoto Circuit Trail's Fushimi-Fukakusa Route. It is listed in the Kyoto Prefecture 339 Mountains.
