Mt. Nakatsumine

Mt. Nakatsumine is a 773-meter peak on the border between Tokushima City and Katsuura Town in Tokushima Prefecture, and is the highest mountain within Tokushima City. Together with Mt. Hinomine and Mt. Tsunomine it forms the "Three Peaks of Awa," long revered as a maritime guardian deity, and Amatsu Shrine with its thirty-eight enshrined deities stands at the summit. The mountain lies within Higashisankei Prefectural Natural Park and Nakatsumine Forest Park, and appears on lists including the Shikoku 100 and the 2017 Japan 100 Low Mountains.
