Mt. Kurinodake

Kurinodake is a 1,094-meter mountain in Yusui, Aira District, Kagoshima Prefecture, at the western end of the Kirishima range south of the Ebino Highland. The Kurinodake lookout is reached by the 561-step "longest railroad-tie stairway in Japan," and the summit gives a sweeping view of Mount Karakuni and Kinko Bay. It lies within Kirishima-Kinkowan National Park and is counted among the 100 Famous Mountains of Kyushu.
