Mt. Honguusan (Owari-Honguzan) is a 293-meter isolated peak in southern Inuyama City, Aichi, counted with Owari-Fuji and Hakusan as one of the Owari Sanzan three sacred mountains. The inner shrine (Okumiya) of Ōagata-jinja sits near the summit and shrines such as Hime-no-miya are scattered along its trails, with the western foot occupied by Ōagata-jinja itself. Its graceful conical form earns it the nickname Owari-Daifuji (local Mt. Fuji), and it is included in the Furusato Fuji 100, Aichi no 130-zan, and Tōkai-shūhen no Yama 110 lists; the city and Inuyama Tourism Association maintain a walking-route map.
