Mount Yūrappu is a 1,277 m peak on the border between Setana Town and Yakumo Town in central Hokkaido's Oshima Range. Its name comes from the Yūrappu River, derived from the Ainu 'yū-rap' meaning 'where hot springs descend', referring to the headwaters on the mountain's eastern flank. The trailhead is reached up the Hidarimata River on the Kitahiyama side of Setana; the northwest ridge route is roughly 18 km return and takes about nine hours, making it an advanced day hike. The slopes are core brown-bear habitat, and the mountain is one of the 100 Famous Mountains of Hokkaido.
