Mount Nehan (1,376 m) lies in Totsukawa Village, Yoshino District, Nara Prefecture, on the southern half of the Omine Okugake Way — a constituent of the UNESCO World Heritage Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range. The peak stands between Mount Hannya and Mount Tenporin, hosts a nabiki (sacred station) of the Shugendo tradition, and lies on the long ridge route from Gyozenshuku via Mount Kasasute to Mount Tamaki. It is located within Yoshino-Kumano National Park.
