Mount Kumoso (1,495.9 m) stands at the meeting point of Kamikatsu, Kamiyama, and Naka towns in Tokushima Prefecture, forming part of the Katsuura Three Mountains alongside Mount Takashiro and Mount Takamaru. Sitting in one of Japan's wettest belts, its summit hosts Kumoso Shrine, dedicated to a rain deity, and trailheads are reached from the Tsurugi-san Super Forest Road — the longest forest road in Japan. The mountain is listed in the Shikoku Hyakumeizan and the Shikoku Hyakuzan.
