Mount Kinkan (816 m) sits at the northern end of the Daruma ridge in Izu City and Numazu City on the Izu Peninsula, just south of Toda Pass. Within Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, its bamboo-grass summit yields wide views of Mount Fuji and the Southern Alps across Suruga Bay. The peak is reached in about ninety minutes from the Daruma Highland Rest House and is included in the Hundred Famous Low Mountains of Japan.
