Mount Hiru

Mount Hiru is a 1,279 m peak on the border of Ichikawamisato and Minobu in Yamanashi Prefecture, at the southern end of the Misaka Range. Its summit offers a wide panorama of Mount Fuji, the Oku-Chichibu and Yatsugatake ranges, and the Southern Alps to the west. It is No. 66 of the Yamanashi Hyakumeizan; the loop course starting from Shibire-ko on its northern flank is one of the prefectural '100 Selected Yamanashi Hiking Courses', and the mountain is also listed among Japan's 100 Famous Low Mountains.
