Mount Fukkoshi-Eboshi is a 507.8-meter peak in the southern Shimokita Peninsula of Aomori Prefecture, straddling Yokohama Town and Rokkasho Village. Although modest in elevation, exposure to strong prevailing winds keeps its summit above the local treeline, opening 360-degree views of Mutsu Bay to the west and the Pacific Ocean to the east. Famed for the rape-blossom fields and wild azalea groves on its slopes, it is reached by a maintained trail from Fukkoshi Station on the JR Ominato Line. The peak is counted among the 100 famous mountains of Tohoku.
