This circuit climbs from Lake Motosu on the Sekibutsu Trail to Ryugatake, follows the bamboo-grass ridge to Hashita Pass, and returns along the lakeside. The open upper slopes overlook Mount Fuji, Lake Motosu and the Southern Alps and are renowned for the Diamond Fuji sunrise around the New Year.
