This return hike climbs from the Fumoto trailhead on the Asagiri Plateau, passing the Fudo Falls lookout and the Mount Fuji viewpoint before reaching Mount Kenashi. After the waterfall view, a sustained steep ascent leads to the marked summit at 1,945 metres, with Mount Fuji directly ahead and the Asagiri Plateau spread below.
