This out-and-back route follows the Myojin Valley from the end of Omata Forest Road via Myojindaira to 1,430 m Mount Myojin. The lower section includes stream crossings and Myojin Falls, followed by switchbacks to the open plateau of Myojindaira. A gentle ridge through natural beech forest then leads to the summit. At the stream crossings identified by Nara Prefecture, use the fixed ropes carefully and assess conditions in wet weather or high water.
