From the Yohaisho trailhead in southern Kama, this loop climbs past Goshinsho Rock, the great boulder that once held the upper shrine of Umami Shrine, to the 978 m Mount Umami, passes the Umami shelter and follows the ridge down to Udoura Pass, returning along the foot of the mountain from the Udoura Pass trailhead. Part of the Kaho Alps, a Japan Mountain Heritage site, it has moss-covered granite boulders and beech woods.
