This out-and-back hike follows the historic pilgrimage route from Daishoin Temple to 535-metre Mount Misen, the highest point on Miyajima. Shiraito Falls, extensive stone steps, Buddhist figures, and mountain halls line the ascent, which ends at the summit observatory with a sweeping view over the islands of the Seto Inland Sea.
