This return climbs the 1,201 m Mount Juni, one of the three Onoko peaks with Mount Onoko and Nakanodake, from the trailhead on the forest road to the south, following an easy path to the Misukashidai viewpoint and then a steep climb to the top. Facing Mount Haruna across the Agatsuma River, the summit with its triangulation point opens in every direction to Asama, Tanigawa, Akagi and the Nikko peaks.
