This circuit starts near the Daisenji bus stop, takes the Natsuyama Trail to the 1,709-metre summit of Misen, and returns on the Gyojadani Trail. It passes through beech forest and stands of Daisen kyaraboku near the eighth station, offers views toward the Sea of Japan from the summit, then descends through Motodani and Ogamiyama Shrine Okunomiya to Daisenji.
