From the Katori trailhead in Daisen, Tottori, this loop drops to the Kabuto River, climbs over the exposed rock ridge called the Godzilla's Back to Kabutogasen (1,338 m) in eastern Daisen, traverses Koyahazu and Yahazugasen (1,358 m) to Ogyu Pass, and returns along the old Daisen road with Edo-period paving. A demanding route of roped steep climbs and exposed rock ridges, it offers ridge walking with an alpine feel.
