From Yakushidake Panorama Park beside the upper station of the Adatara ropeway, this return passes the Sennyodaira junction to the 1,700 m summit of Mount Adatara, nicknamed Chichikubi-yama for its nipple-shaped crown. Yakushidake holds a monument to the true sky celebrated in the poetry collection Chiekosho, and the rocky summit looks out to Bandai, the Iide range and the Zao range.
