Kushiro City Tsuruoka Ski Area Closed

Kushiro City Tsuruoka Ski Area was a municipal ski hill in the Tsuruoka district on the western side of Kushiro, set up by the city for local residents. The city has since abolished it and, after a public consultation, repealed the ordinances that governed the facility and its fees. The only ski area the city still runs is Lake Akan National Ski Area Utara on the shore of Lake Akan.
