Yokodake

Yokodake is a 1,094-meter mountain in Shinjo, Tarumizu City, Kagoshima Prefecture, in the Takakuma Mountains of the central Osumi Peninsula. Like the principal peak Onogaradake, it lies within Takakumayama Prefectural Natural Park. The summit has a large shrine and Japanese andromeda, which overlooks the surrounding mountains. A 9.7-km circuit from the Osumi Youth Outdoor Learning Center campsite via Mantaki Falls takes 6 hours 5 minutes of walking and includes steep slopes with fixed ropes.
