Mt. Kougasan

Mt. Kōgasan is a 1,224 m peak straddling Seki and Gujō in Gifu Prefecture, set in the eastern Etsumi Mountains. Its base hosts Kōga Shrine and the wider "Kōga Rokusha" shrine group — a long-standing center of mountain worship later associated with the Edo-period priest-sculptor Enkū. The broad summit takes in Mt. Ontake, Mt. Hakusan, Mt. Ena, and Mt. Ibuki, and the peak appears in Gifu Hyakuzan, Nihon Hyakureihō, Tōkai no Hyakuzan, and Gifu Hyakushūzan.
