Mt. Komakiyama is an 86-meter isolated hill rising at the heart of Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture, designated a National Historic Site as the ruins of Komakiyama Castle — the first castle Oda Nobunaga personally built, in 1563. The 21-hectare park preserves earthworks from both Nobunaga's castle and the 1584 Battle of Komaki-Nagakute fortifications, and offers three walking courses (Ōte-michi, the gentle Yellow course, and the Karame-te / Five-Stage Slope course) maintained by the city. The Komakiyama History Museum sits at the summit and the Rekishiru Komaki visitor center sits at the foot. The peak is listed in Aichi no 130-zan.
