Mt. Hiyama (509.7 m) rises above the right bank of the Kuji River in Yamatsuri Town, Higashishirakawa County, Fukushima Prefecture, immediately behind the rocky outcrops, cherry blossoms, azaleas and autumn-foliage of Yamatsuri-yama Park. Reached on foot from JR Yamatsuri-yama Station on the Suigun Line, it offers easy maintained hiking circuits past Musō Falls and Yamatsuri Shrine, and is included in the New Utsukushima 100 Mountains list.
