Mount Sengen is a 118 m hill in Hayama Town, Miura District of Kanagawa Prefecture, marking the western end of the Miura Alps (Futagoyama range). Standing only about a kilometre inland from Moritō Beach, it can be climbed in about 20 minutes from the foot, yet its viewing platform offers a sweeping outlook across Sagami Bay to Mount Fuji and the rooftops of Hayama. Famous for spring cherry blossoms and wild violets, the Sengenyama Hiking Course maintained by Hayama Town is also a popular starting point for the Miura Alps traverse.
