Mount Nakatsumyojin

中津明神山

Mount Nakatsumyojin is a 1,541-meter peak on the border between Kumakogen Town in Ehime Prefecture and Niyodogawa Town in Kochi Prefecture, in the western Shikoku Mountains. Its summit, crowned by a national radar dome and a striking red torii gate, offers a 360-degree panorama from Tosa Bay to the Ishizuchi range and the Shikoku Karst. The peak is listed on the Shikoku Hyakumeizan, and a twelve-kilometer trekking route via Karaike Pond and the Mizu Pass was developed in 2012.
