Komuroyama is a 321 m hill in Kawana, Ito, Shizuoka Prefecture. Its summit area forms Komuroyama Park, famous for an azalea garden of 100,000 plants in 40 varieties and for 4,000 camellias of 1,000 kinds. A sightseeing chairlift runs to the top, which gives a 360-degree view over the Sagami Sea, Izu Oshima, the Boso Peninsula and the Amagi mountains, and carries the Komuroyama Ridge Walk MISORA boardwalk and a cafe. It is a scoria cone formed by an eruption 16,000 years ago.
