Takaya Shrine’s main sanctuary stands on the summit, with views of Kanonji and the Seto Inland Sea through its “torii gate in the sky.” The walk from the lower shrine takes about 50 minutes, passing the middle shrine before a final steep flight of 270 stone steps. The large Yurugi Rock stands along the steps.
