Mount Eirei

Mount Eirei is a 521-meter mountain near central Rausu. The local mountaineering club opened its trail in 2004. The three-hour round trip starts behind Shiretoko Mirai Junior High School and passes Yotsukura Pond and Kumamidai. The summit overlooks Mount Rausu and other Shiretoko peaks, Rausu town, Nemuro Strait and Kunashiri Island.
