Mount Daijingū (746.2 m) lies on the border between Yamatsuri Town in Fukushima Prefecture and Daigo Town in Ibaraki Prefecture, along the long south-eastern ridge descending from Mount Yamizo — the highest peak in Ibaraki. The name reflects its historic role as a remote worship point (yōhaisho) for Ise Grand Shrine: beside the triangulation point stands a 'spectacle stone' with a round hole said to align with Ise some 169 ri to the south. A maintained traverse route operated by Daigo Town links the peak with Yamizo via Ikenohira and Takasasayama.
