Mount Chinnan is a 536 m satoyama on the border of Usuki City and Tsukumi City in Oita Prefecture, beloved as a symbol of Usuki. The trail starts from a parking area along Route 217, crosses the Fukura overpass, passes a water source at the eighth station and reaches the Tono-o subsidiary peak with its shrine, observation deck and peace bell, then continues another ten minutes south to the true summit. The mountain is listed in the Ōita Hyakuzan and New Ōita Hyakuzan.
