Mount Atago

Mount Atago is a 261 m peak in Fukushima, Kawabe Town, Kamo District, Gifu Prefecture, loved as the town's symbol and nicknamed Yoneda-Fuji for its graceful ridgeline. Its slopes hold the ruins of Yoneda Castle, built by Keiban Yoshinao in the late Muromachi period, and Kamo Shrine; the summit overlooks the Hida River and Kawabe Dam, with Mount Kinka and Mount Ibuki visible on the horizon. It is one of the Kawabe Seven Mountains and is included in the Furusato Fuji 100.
