Kannondake is a 472 m peak in the Shodai mountain area of Tamana, Kumamoto Prefecture. A circuit from Maruyama campsite via the Maruyama lookout and Kannondake covers about 3.8 km in 90 minutes; a route from Sasasenri car park via Kannondake and Shichihodai to the highest peak, Tsutsugatake, covers about 3.7 km in 120 minutes. Kannondake offers views of Kinposan and the Shimabara Peninsula.
