大障子岩

A 1,451 m rock peak in Bungo-Ono City, Oita Prefecture, rising on the 'Shoji Ridge' that links Mt. Sobo and Mt. Katamuki. It sits at the heart of Sobo-Katamuki Quasi-National Park and the Sobo-Katamuki-Okue UNESCO Ecopark, and its long succession of crags and knife-edge ridges marks it as an advanced traverse. The peak is included in every major regional list including 'Kyushu Hyakuzan' and 'Oita Hyakuzan.'
