Abe Castle

These mountain castle ruins were a Kano clan stronghold supporting the Southern Court during the Nanboku-cho period. Trails climb from Uchimaki, Zozenji, Tokeiin and Nishigaya, with some steep sections. The summit overlooks the Abe River and Shizuoka, with Mount Fuji visible on clear days.
