3,000 m · Yamanashi · 1.5 km from the summit of Kusushidake
A staffed hut high on Mt. Fuji's Yoshida Route at roughly 3,000 m, traditionally described as 10,000 shaku above sea level. It is about three hours from the Fuji Subaru Line Fifth Station and another three hours to the summit. A lava cave called Oana below the lodge enshrines the Eight Dragon Kings as water deities, and the hut once housed a seasonal police post.
