2,790 m · Yamanashi · 1.7 km from the summit of Kusushidake
A staffed mountain hut at 2,790 m on Mount Fuji's Yoshida Route, about a two-and-a-half-hour walk from Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station. Its early check-in makes it a useful base for acclimatization. The hut has around 150 years of history, while a nearby lava cave and spring have long been associated with prayers for safe childbirth.
