Tairappyo no Ie

1,656 m · Minakami, Gunma · 1.3 km from the summit of Mount Tairappyō

A mountain hut at about 1,656 m on the south side of Tairappyo, roughly 300 vertical metres below the summit at the western end of the Tanigawa Range. It can be approached from the Tairappyo trailhead via the Hiramoto route and serves climbs of Tairappyo and Sennokura as well as ridge traverses. The 12-person staffed hut is paired with a year-round shelter and a spring-fed water point.
