Unstaffed shelter on the summit of Shiratoriyama at about 1,276m, in Itoigawa, Niigata. It stands on the lower part of the Tsugami-shindo linking Oyashirazu on the Sea of Japan with Asahidake. As an Itoigawa City facility there is no charge, and about 25 blankets are provided; capacity is roughly 25. There is no water, so drinking water must be gathered along the way. The trail and the hut are maintained by the local Tsugami Gakuyukai, and a donation box stands inside. The campsite takes about five tents.
