3,150 m · Yamanashi · 1.2 km from the summit of Kusushidake
A staffed hut at 3,150 m on the eighth station of Mt. Fuji's Yoshida Route. It is about four hours uphill from the Fuji Subaru Line Fifth Station, roughly midway to the summit and just above the rocky section from the seventh station. The lodge preserves traditions associated with Kame-iwa Rock, the Eight Dragon Kings, and Fukutoku Benzaiten, and sounds a drum each morning to pray for climbers' safety.
