A secluded lodge at about 607 m on the Tashirotai Plateau below Mount Nanashigure in Hachimantai, Iwate. It is about 30 minutes by car from Nishine IC or an hour from Morioka. A base for climbing Nanashigure, it is known for its dark skies, local cuisine, bath heated with natural spring water and a wood-fired sauna in a restored traditional house.
