Mountain hut at the fifth station of Naebasan, one of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains, at about 1,365m. It is the base camp for the Haraikawa climbing route and stands within the Mitsumata area of the Kagura ski resort. From here the summit of Naebasan is about 3 hours 30 minutes up, via Shimo-no-shiba, Naka-no-shiba and Kagura-ga-mine. It sleeps 20; there are no private rooms and sleeping areas are divided by curtains. Facilities include separate men's and women's baths, washlet toilets and a shop. In summer visitors come for climbing and easy trekking as well as stream fishing and stargazing, and in winter it serves as a ski base.
