This through-hike climbs the Itatsumi Ridge from Yabitsu Pass to 1,252 m Mount Oyama, then descends via Fujimidai to the Oyama Cable bus stop. The Yabitsu route joins the mountain's omote-sando approach, and the summit is home to the main shrine of Oyama Afuri Shrine. It overlooks the Kanto Plain, with Mount Fuji and central Tokyo's high-rises visible in clear weather.
